Dom is the owner and head instructor (for both kids and adults) at Dominat10n. He began training Jiu Jitsu in 2006, receiving his black belt from Rodrigo Medeiros (Carlson Gracie) in 2016. Dom's passion for the art has gifted him the opportunity to travel the world, leading training in Brazil and heading a program in Hong Kong. Dom is also an avid competitor, winning numerous titles around the world and competing at prestigious events such as Arte Suave, Fight 2 Win, Submission Pro Tour, and the IBJJF World Championships. Besides his love for teaching and helping others grow, Dom's a prankster, so keep your head on a swivel. His next joke may be on you!

"Uncle Scott" is Dom's first student promoted to black belt (2022). He began his martial arts journey with Aikido in 2003 (attaining the rank of Shodan in 2008), and began cross-training with Jiu Jitsu in 2006. Scott incorporated competing into his Jiu Jitsu journey almost immediately as a white belt and has remained active on the circuit ever since. He's trained and taught in Europe and Japan, and has found a way to combine his broad martial arts experience into a fighting style that affords him the uncanny ability to find wrist locks from just about any position. Scott's a very nice guy, but be careful when you shake his hand.

Hassan is the youngest instructor at Dominat10n, but also one of the most experienced. He began training in San Diego, CA at the age of 12, hitting the competitive scene almost immediately. He’s since rounded out his grappling skills by wrestling at Menlo College, so it only made sense for him to run Dominat10n’s no-gi program. When he’s not practicing standup on the mat, he’s standing up for human rights and social reform off of it. He really knows how to pick someone up, or take someone down.

Jeremy is a kids instructor at Dominat10n, and for great reason! Originally from the laidback state of Hawaii, namely the island of Oahu, he's been training in various martial arts since the age of 13. Jeremy began training with Dominat10n in 2021, and his two children currently attend kids classes as well. Jeremy also holds a degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from UC Berkeley... probably his greatest asset for harnessing groups of children.
